While researching museums in Paris, I came across a few house museums, and I was interested because I love French architecture and decorative arts. There was Musée Jacquemart-André and Musée Nissim de Camondo, and both happened to be near each other. But I decided to only go to Musée Jacquemart-André because the pictures of the veranda and the staircase caught me eye.
The museum was uncrowded and rather quiet when it opened. Our strategy was to pick one main attraction every day that we felt was worth waking up early for that we wanted to experience without crowds.
