While researching museums in Paris, I came across a few house museums, and I was interested because I love French architecture and decorative arts. There was Musée Jacquemart-André and Musée Nissim de Camondo, and both happened to be near each other! But I decided to only go to Musée Jacquemart-André since the pictures of the veranda inside the museum caught my eye and the staircase is just beautiful. I totally wish I could have my own staircase like that! And a veranda too! A girl can dream, right? Anyway, this was certainly a lovely and quiet morning spent at the museum. It’s a short walk away from Parc Monceau which unfortunately we didn’t have enough time for. We instead decided to be typical tourists and went straight to the Arc de Triomphe and Champ de Elysees – nothing wrong with that!
