I loved our Airbnb in Tasmania so much that I had to write about it! There are so many cute places to stay at in and around its capital city, Hobart. We went with the Hobart Hideaway Pods, which was only 20 minutes away from the city by car and was conveniently located in the middle of everything! The accommodation is nestled in the town of Kingston away from the bustle of the city, but what really appealed to me was that the pods are built to be environmentally conscious. It is built with sustainably-sourced materials and has features like a composting toilet, which can save up to 60,000 liters of water per year.
There are two pods you can stay in. We stayed at the Pea Pod since the Vanilla Pod was already booked. The only difference is ours was wheelchair accessible. The host lived onsite as well, which was reassuring to know if we needed anything, she is only down the path. Our pod was cozy and comfortable, with a beautiful view out the window and a kitchenette that was filled with stylish tableware. While there is no proper stove to do any cooking, there were plenty of dining out options and pizza delivery that made really good pizza. The pod was a place we could call home away from home.
